Shagang inks supply agreement for custom-made pipelines with Iranian client

It's reported that Jiangsu-Province based Shagang, has inked an supply agreement with its client in Iran for 20,000 tons of pipeline with thickness of 15.7mm and width of 4,388mm after the deal with Iran for 120,000 tons of X70 pipelines custom-made design and production.

Despite of the weak demand, one of China's top-five steel producers, Jiangsu Shagang has been aggressively exploring the overseas markets for its steel products more than 200,000 tons of pipeline steel to Russia, Iran and other countries.

Shagang achieved sales revenue of RMB 132.83 billion in the January to July period, up by 4.18% year on year.
