CISA: China’s daily crude steel output up slightly in late August

According to data released by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), its steel enterprise members' daily crude steel output averaged at 1.7402 million tons in last 10 days of August, rising by 0.7% from the previous 10 days.

Therefore, it's estimated that China's daily crude steel output would be at 2.1192 million tons in last August, up by 0.05% from 10 days ago.

Meanwhile, the country's exports of steel products totaled 6.14 million tons in August, rising by 990,000 tons from a month ago, according to customs.
