China’s ferro-chrome prices up on stainless steel mills’ higher bids

Reportedly, the prices of ferro-chrome hiked in China for the first time since this September, driven by the stainless steel mills' higher bids.

It's known that Taiyuan Iron&Steel Group (Tisco), the largest stainless steelmaker in China increased its December ferro-chrome prices to RMB7,400/ton this week from RMB7,300/ton.

Besides, Zhangjiagang Posco also increased its weekly bid prices by RMB100/ton to reach RMB7, 600/ton this week.

As a result, the transaction prices of ferro-chrome surged by RMB100/ton from a week earlier to reach RMB7, 600~RMB7, 700/ton on this Thursday
