The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (Mofcom) said on Wednesday that it will impose anti-dumping duties on certain vehicles made and imported from US manufacturers. It's known that the duties will bring impact to vehicles with 2.5-liter engines and above.Under the rule, General Motors will be imposed AD duty rates as much as 12.9%; Chrysler Group will receive AD duty rate as much as 8.8%; 2% for the US unit of BMW and 2.7% for the US branch of Daimler AG (DAI).In addition, Mofcom will also impose the AD duty on the other automakers in the US such as Honda Motor Corporation's US division although the exact amount was not revealed.
