Dongbei Special Steel crude steel output up by 11pct in 2011

Chinese steelmaker Dongbei Special Steel Company has announced that in 2011 its crude steel output reached 1.87 million tonnes up 10.7% while its finished steel production totaled 1.61 million tonnes up 10.8% both YoY. The steel producer's operating revenue in 2011 reached CNY 1.68 billion up 15.6% while its net profit totaled CNY 170 million.

For 2012, Dongbei Special Steel is targeting a crude steel output of 3.2 million tonnes and a finished steel output of 2.72 million tonnes an operating revenue of CNY 2.36 billion and a net profit of CNY 430 million.
