According to the data released by CISA (China Iron and Steel Association), Chinese registered steelmakers contributed a daily crude steel output of 1.495 million metric tons in late January, rising by 1.35% from middle January. Meanwhile, Chinese average daily crude steel output was estimated to stand at 1.673 million metric tons in late January, also raising by 0.23% versus middle January.
As for the market prospect, experts expected that the crude steel production will continue its upward trend in future because the multiple projects will be put into operation in the short term.
