China stocks close up Wednesday

Chinese shares closed higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite index ending at 2,406.81, up 0.75 percent, or 17.98 point.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 1.20 percent, or 120.12 points, to close at 10,162.01.
