According to data released by the World Steel, the global crude steel output totaled 128 million tons in June, down slightly by 0.1% year on year.
In June, China's crude steel output increased slightly by 0.6% year on year to 60.2 million, a slower growth in comparison of that in the previous months.
Meanwhile, World Steel forecasted in April that the global steel consumption growth will slow down in 2012, due to weak economic growth in China and uncertainties in the debt crisis in euro zone.
