It's reported that the steel sheet prices have remained stable in Russian market in September.
Even though the major steel mills in Russia announced to hike the hot rolled coils (HRC) prices by 2% for September, the price rises was unfavorable to the buyers.
As a result, the HRC prices only increased slightly by 0.5%~1.5% and the prices of cold rolled coils and hot dipped galvanized steel remained at the August price level.
It's learned that Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) and Severstal offered the hot rolled sheet with thickness of 2mm quoted at RUB22,100~RUB22,200/ton. The cold rolled sheet with thickness of 1.5mm is quoted at RUB25,300~RUB25,400/ton.
