CRC import prices keep flat in gulf areas

The import prices of cold rolled coils (CRC) have remained flat for consecutive three months.

It's known that the transaction prices of CRC produced in October are at US$645~US$665/ton CFR main port in gulf areas, remaining flat in comparison of that in the end of August.

Industry sources said that the transaction volumes of CRC are few in gulf areas due to sluggish demand.

For the prospect, it's predicted that the CIS and Chinese steelmakers may reduce the CRC export quotes to the gulf areas in the following few weeks as the demand has remained weak
