US stainless producers raise alloy surcharges for November

It's reported that the stainless steel producers including AK Steel and North American Stainless (NAS) announced to hike the alloy surcharges for 304 grade stainless steel coils to US$0.79/lb. from US$0.76/lb. for November.

Also, the two companies set its alloy surcharges for 316 grade stainless coils to increase to US$1.12/lb. from US$1.08/lb.

However, the two companies cut the alloy surcharge for 430 grade stainless coils to US$0.20/lb. from US$0.23/lb.
