Recently, AK Steel announced to raise the alloy surcharges for stainless steel products for November.
After the adjustment, its November alloy surcharges for 304 grade stainless steel products are at US$0.7955/lb., rising by 3.8%; that for 201 grade is at US$0.5207/lb., up by 0.3% and that for 316 grade is at US$1.120/lb., increasing by 3.4%, all compared to the alloy surcharges for October.
However, AK Steel cut its November alloy surcharges for 430 grade to US$0.2016/lb. from US$0.2318/lb. for October.
