Russia-based TMK, a major global supplier of steel pipes for the oil and gas sectors announced that its shipments of steel pipes in the first quarters of this year totaled 3.146 million tons, falling by 1.5% year on year, caused by lower sales volumes of large-diameter pipes.
In the third quarter, the company's shipments totaled 1.042 million tons, remaining flat from a quarter ago. Among them, the shipments of oil casting tubes dropped by 10.8% and that of large-diameter pipes decreased by 4.2%, both compared to that in a quarter ago.
