Tokyo Steel hikes scrap purchasing prices at Utsunomiya plant

Reportedly, Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to cut the scrap purchasing prices by ¥1000/ton at its Utsunomiya plant from November 8th.

After the adjustment, its H2 scrap prices at Utsunomiya plant are ¥¥23,500/ton.

Meanwhile, Tokyo Steel remained the scrap purchasing prices at the other four plants unchanged. The H2 scrap purchasing p prices in Okayama plant is at ¥22,500~¥23,000/ton; that in Kyushu plant is at ¥22,500/ton; that in Tahara plant is at ¥22,500/ton and that in Takamatsu steel center is at ¥21,500/ton.
