Ohio-based AK Steel announced to hike its prices for steel flat products including cold rolled, hot rolled and galvanized carbon steel by US$55/ton on November 5th, effective immediately.It's learned that AK Steel previously hiked its prices of steel flat products by US$44/ton on October 17th.Industry sources predicted that the steelmakers in the US might follow AK Steel to increase the prices of steel flat products recently.
