UK-based MEPS predicted that the global crude stainless steel output would reach the new history highs of 34 million tons in 2012, reflecting a rise of 0.8% from a year ago.However, the growth rate of the Chinese crude stainless steel production may slow down. MEPS predicted that the country's crude stainless steel output may only rise slightly by 1.1% to 14.30 million tons this year.Meanwhile, MEPS forecasted that the global crude stainless steel output may rise another 3% to hit 35 million tons in 2013.
