Posco to bid for ArcelorMittal Canadian iron ore mine

Reportedly, the South Korean steel giant Posco has been confirmed the negotiation right to acquire 15% stakes in a Canadian iron ore mine operated by ArcelorMittal.

This deal has estimated to worth more than US$1 billion.

Posco intends to buy the stakes with South Korea's National Pension Service and other investors but declined to elaborate on the size of the planned stake currently.
