According to statistics released by the Department of Commerce (DOC), the US's exports of heavy section totaled 102,635 tons in October, jumping by 54% from a month ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico surged substantially by 213% from a month earlier to hit 39,869 tons.
Besides, the country's October exports of rebar totaled 54,169 tons, up by 7%; those of wire rods were at 11,045 tons, soaring by 20%, both compared to those in a month ago.
