China State Shipbuilding Corporation(CSSC),one of the two largest shipbuilding conglomerates in China has planning to expand its purchases of shipbuilding steel from Chongqing Iron and Steel Corporation to supply for shipbuilding, bridge and building construction in the manufacture of industrial machinery and automobiles next year.CSSC has desire to increases purchase volumes of shipbuilding steel to 1 million tons by 2013 as Chongqing Steel is capable to supply nearly 50% of CSSC's annual needs in quality from its total annual production volumes of 1.7995 million tons.
