It's reported that the H2 scrap base prices increased to ¥28,000~¥28,500/ton in the Japanese Kanto region from December 21st, driven by Tokyo Steel's price rise of ¥500~¥1,000/ton.
It's learned that the steel companies in Kanto region including Asahi Steel, Itoh Steel, Kanto Steel and Godo Steel have all increased the H2 scrap base prices by ¥1,000/ton.
Meanwhile, the H2 scrap base prices in the Tokyo Bay region have also increased by ¥500/ton to ¥28,000/ton.
