Turkey's imports of iron ore totaled 728,940 tons of iron ore in October, decreasing by 37.4% from a month ago and down slightly by 0.3% year on year.
Also, the country's iron ore imports have decreased for consecutive three months.
In October, Brazil was the largest iron ore exporter to Turkey with 432,902 tons, falling by 36% month on month and decreasing by 14.5% year on year.
In the first 10 months of this year, Turkey's imports of iron ore totaled 6.6 million tons, up by 12% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country's import revenues generated by iron ore totaled US$994 million, decreasing by 3.6% year on year.
