According to data released by Serbia's ministry of finance and economy, Russia's Zelezara Smederevo, the leading steel business in Serbia, planned to restart of its Smederevo-based steel mill.
Meanwhile, the company has prepared the proposal the Serbian government aimed at bringing the troubled mill back to the operation in the first half of February this year.
However, the Russian bidder is still not to decide any details on the framework for its involvement in the Serbian steelmaker at this moment.
In addition, the company will have alternatives to choose before the deadline for submitting final bids expires by the end of February 2013.
