US DOC launches final result of CVD order on Korean steel flats

It's reported that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) launched its final result of its administrative review of countervailing duty (CVD) order on Korean corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products.

There are three Korean companies are involved in this case, including Dongbu Steel, Hyundai Hysco and Pohang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Posco), covering the period of calendar year 2010.

The DOC determined final subsidy margin of 0.12% for Dongbu Steel, 0.19% for Hyundai Hysco and 0.16% for Posco. All of these preliminary margins are de minimis.

The DOC will send instructions to the US Customs and Border Protection to liquidate entries.
