According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US's weekly crude steel output totaled 1.88 million short tons in the week ended on April 13rd, up by 1.2% from a week ago while falling by 6.7% year on year.
Also, the country's crude steel output has increased for consecutive four weeks.
In the given period of time, the country's average capability utilization was at 78.5%, higher than 77.6% in a week ago.
