US weekly crude steel output falls

According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US weekly crude steel output totaled 1.858 million net tons in the week ended on April 20th, down by 1.2% from a week ago and falling by 7.7% year on year.

In the given period of time, the capacity utilization rate of the US steelmaking facility was at 77.6%, lower than 78.6% in a week ago and 80.9% in the same period of a year ago.
