US mills cut stainless surcharges for June

Reportedly, the three major stainless steel producers in the US, including North America Stainless (NAS), AK Steel and ATI Allegheny Ludlum have announced to cut alloy surcharges for stainless steel products for June.

NAS's June alloy surcharges for 304 grades stainless are at US$0.6858/lb., falling from US$0.7406/lb. for May; those for 316 grades stainless are at US$0.9766/lb., decreasing from US$1.0408/lb.; those for 430 grades stainless are at US$0.2158/lb., falling from US$0.2253/lb.

ATI Allegheny Ludlum cut June alloy surcharges for 304 grades stainless steel to US$0.6851/lb. from US$0.7406/lb. for May. The alloy surcharges for 316 grades are at US$0.9760/lb., lower than US$1.0407/lb. for May. The surcharges for 430 grades are at US$0.2253/lb., falling from US$0.2151/lb. from a month ago.

AK Steel's June surcharge for 304 grades are at US$0.6856/lb., decreasing from US$0.7404/lb. for May; that for 316 grades was at US$0.9779/lb., falling from US$1.0395/lb. and that for 430 grades was at US$0.2158/lb., sliding from US$0.2254/lb.
