Vietnam’s imports of steel products fall in Jan-Apr

The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) said that Vietnam's imports of steel products totaled 3.5 million tons in the first four months of this year.

The country's import revenues generated by steel products totaled US$2.2 billion.

In the given period of time, the imports of steel billets totaled 17,400 tons, falling by 32%; those of steel plates were 1.5 million tons, decreasing by 7%; those of steel wire products were at 47,800 tons, falling by 34%, all compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
