It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to raise its scrap purchasing prices by ￥500~￥1,000/ton at its five works from August 27th.
After the adjustment, its H2 scrap prices averaged at ￥33,000~￥34,500/ton.
Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing prices in Okayama works are at ￥34,000/ton; those in Kyushu works are at ￥34,000/ton; those in Tahara works are at ￥34,000/ton; those in Utsunomiya works are at ￥34,500/ton and those in Takamatsu steel center are at ￥33,000/ton.
