It's reported that the Japanese steelmaker Tokyo Steel announced that it will remain prices flat for February contracts.
Tokyo Steel will keep size extra charges for some H-beams, channels and rebar. The price of H-beam will be at ￥80,000/ton, I-beam at ￥82,000/ton, channel steel at ￥80,000/ton and rebar at ￥65,000/ton.
The company said its output of steel finished products at 4 mills totaled 140,000 ton in January and current demand is quite healthy.
