Jiangsu Shagang Group Huaigang Special Steel Co. Ltd had signed 0.403 million tons scarp steel supply contract for 2012 with 21 scarp steel suppliers. At the same time, there were 3 suppliers had the intention to supply scarp to Huaigang. It is estimated that the scarp steel supply can be maintained at 0.45 million tons next year.
Scarp steel is the main raw material for Huaigang, and its annual demand is nearly 0.5 million tons.
