On April 14, 2011, the BRICS signed The Framework Agreement on Financial Cooperation within the BRICS Inter-Bank Cooperation Mechanism in Sanya, China, which will further promote the cooperation within the BRICS.
However, facing global warming, global economic crisis, competition from other emerging countries, BRICS have been confronted with great challenges, such as rising cost of labor force, environmental protection.
