-Shandong Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd., the largest MDI manufacturer in the world, completed its aniline project with a capacity of 350,000 t/a in Oct. 2014. The increasing self sufficient rate of China's MDI greatly impacted aniline market.

-China's tire industry slowed down its growth in 2014. Besides, the US, the largest export destination of China's tire, launched anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations against China's tire in 2014.

-Because of the weak demand and the price decline of crude oil, market price of aniline in China saw five-year low in 2014. The operating rate of China's aniline decreased to below 50% in the end of 2014.
