MOA Vice Minister Qu Dongyu met with Ms. Sudarat Keyuraphan, core leader of the Pheu Thai Party of Thailand, in Beijing on 28 June 2017.
Vice Minister Qu made positive remarks on the progress in multilateral and bilateral agricultural cooperation between China and Thailand, and noted that the MOA highly values agricultural cooperation with Thailand. He suggested that the two sides strengthen cooperation in areas of agricultural science and technology, rural e-commerce, agricultural trade and logistics, among others. He also invited Thai delegations to the China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF) to be held in Beijing on 21-24 September 2017, and the Second Village Chiefs Forum under the Lancang-Mekong Agricultural Cooperation Framework in China next year.
Ms. Sudarat Keyuraphan fully agreed with the Chinese side and looked forward to greater success in China-Thailand agricultural cooperation.
