Minister Han Changfu met with Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz, Presidential Assistant of the Republic of the Sudan and Deputy Chairman of the Higher Committee for Supervising Sudanese-Chinese Relations, in Beijing on Jan. 11, 2017.
Minister Han extended his appreciation to the Sudanese side for their hospitality during his visit to Sudan last year, and conveyed warm welcome to Dr. Al-Jaz for his visit to China.
Minister Han noted that China highly values the exchanges and cooperation with Sudan in the agricultural sector. He fully recognized the fruitful outcomes in areas such as the construction of the agricultural development zone, agricultural investment, aquaculture and capacity building, etc. In the future, he hopes the two sides make concerted efforts to improve the bilateral agricultural cooperation to benefit the two peoples.
Dr. Al-Jaz fully agreed with Minister Han and expressed his willingness to work with China for greater success in China-Sudan agricultural cooperation.
