Vice Minister Qu Dongyu met with Mr. Roni Telegrafi, Vice Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Administration of the Republic of Albania, in Kunming, Yunnan Province on Nov. 5, 2016. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-Albania agricultural cooperation.
Vice Minister Qu extended warm welcome to Mr. Telegrafi for his visit to China and his participation in the Meeting of China-CEEC Ministers of Agriculture and International Forum on Agro-Trade and Economic Cooperation. Vice Minister Qu noted that China and Albania are complementary in agriculture with broad prospects for cooperation in agricultural S&T, agro-trade and other areas. China stands ready to work with Albania to capitalize on multilateral cooperation platforms, including the "16+1' (China-CEEC) mechanism, to conduct cooperation in agricultural S&T, trade and investment, among others.
Mr. Telegrafi agreed with Vice Minister Qu and expressed the willingness of the Albanian side to continue stepping up the bilateral agricultural cooperation and increase agricultural trade.
