China methionine prices rise slowly but steadily
Prices of methionine remained firm during the week ending May 3.
Methionine sellers stood firm on prices, which have dropped below RMB30/kg in several regions. Meanwhile, buyers were more willing to accumulate stockpiles amid concerns that grain prices might surge as China's commodities markets heated up.
For liquid methionine, price quotes stayed stable at RM22-23/kg.
