Another insect meal facility, now by FeedsAgrisolutions
US-based FeedsAgrisolutions has begun construction of a three-acre insect meal production facility in Colombia.
The production facility will provide warehouse space with associated offices, a rendering operation with a state-of-the-art odour control system, and an area to accommodate the processing of 200 tonnes of organic waste per day. The new construction is designed to support the company's growing expansion and research operation and is scheduled to be in full operation in December 2016.
The project will develop new and alternative feed resources and feed technologies, under the brand ENTHOS®, such as the launching of a novel "fishmeal analogue".
