Selected non-staple agri-food prices – 12th week of 2016

Pork price rises slightly for 3 consecutive weeks while egg price witnesses a slight recovery

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 12th week of 2016 (March 21-27, 2016) is 228.45 (year 2000=100), increasing by 1.94 points from the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Agri-food Wholesale Price Index is 235.20, increasing by 2.26 points from the previous week. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 intensively monitored wholesale markets is 540,700 tons, increasing by 6.2% from the previous week.
