AB Vista appoints nutritionist for North American technical team
AB Vista has announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Van Wyhe to its North American technical team.
Having experience in the poultry industry with a focus on layers, Dr Van Wyhe''s role is to provide customers a comprehensive nutritional guidance.
"Robert''s expertise in diet formulation and optimising nutrition will help to strengthen our poultry and swine technical teams in supporting our customers," said Dr Craig Wyatt, AB Vista''s technical manager. "He will be assisting customers in all areas of poultry nutrition to ensure they''re making the most of their feed formulations, and he will form a key part of our wider technical service and advice offering."
Before joining AB Vista, Dr Van Wyhe has worked with a poultry genetics company, handling breeder flock nutrition for both US and international customers along with conducting research trials to evaluate programmes.
He holds a Master''s of Science in poultry nutrition from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Doctorate of Philosophy in animal science from the Michigan State University.
Dr Van Wyhe has also presented at scientific and technical meetings and was invited to speak on nutritional challenges in laying hens.
