China lysine market stays stable despite subdued demand

Lysine prices stayed unchanged the week ending March 15

Demand for lysine remained slow as buyers have not used up stocks accumulated before the Chinese New Year amid sluggish hog feed consumption.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine remained in the range of RMB8.50-8.80/kg.
