Soft demand holds down China methionine prices
Prices of methionine were stable to higher during the week ending August 31.
One global producer, which is likely to halt operation during September, lifted its price quotes lately. However, prices remained stable in several regions amid soft demand.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were in the range of RMB35-35.50/kg
