Vice Minister Qu Dongyu meets Vietnamese Ambassador

Vice Minister Qu Dongyu met with Vietnamese Ambassador Mr. Nguyen Van Tho and his delegation in Beijing on August 26th, 2015. The two sides spoke highly of the progress in China-Vietnam agricultural exchanges and cooperation over recent years, and put forward proposals on further enhancing the bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Both sides agreed that China and Vietnam are highly complementary in agriculture and enjoy broad prospects for collaboration. The two countries will give full play to the existing cooperation mechanisms, maintain high-level visits and personnel exchanges, and strengthen communication and cooperation in animal disease control, plant protection, demonstration and extension of new crop varieties, agro-product quality and safety, agricultural trade and investment, among others.
