Lysine prices stable in China amid prudent buying
   
   
   
Lysine prices were mostly unchanged during the week ending July 13.
   
   
Demand for lysine waned over the week after feed millers have secured ample supplies. Although soymeal prices continued to rise, buyers were prudent as the hog population in China remained limited.
   
   
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB8.20-8.40/kg.
   
   
Prices are expected to stay around current levels.
