MOA issued China Wheat Quality Report 2013 on Feb. 10, 2014.
The Report provided comprehensive data on China's wheat quality and traits, based on a nationwide survey conducted by Department of Crop Production of MOA last year.
Over 800 samples of 238 spring and winter wheat varieties from 19 provinces were tested. Results showed that medium and strong gluten varieties still dominate China's wheat production currently.
The Report is believed to be quite helpful to map China's wheat traits and select quality varieties of high yield.
