Minister Han meets Georgian Prime Minister

Minister Han Changfu met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in Tbilist of Georgia on May 11, 2015 and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral agricultural cooperation during his two-day visit to Georgia.


Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that Georgia is willing to advance agricultural cooperation with China under the framework of Silk Road Economic Belt initiative.Georgia's Deputy Prime MinisterGiorgi Kvirikashvili and agricultural Minister Otar Danelia were present at the meeting. 


Prior to the meeting with Georgian Prime Minister, Minister Han had a meeting with Minister Otar Danelia. Minister Han proposed that the two sides enhance cooperation mechanisms, S&T exchange, agricultural trade and investment to further bilateral agricultural cooperation. Minister Otar Danelia fully agreed with Minister Han on his proposal and vowed to spare no efforts for its implementation. After the meeting, the two Ministers signed a joint action plan on agricultural cooperation for 2015-2016.
