ICAMA held a Rap Session of Pesticide Import and Export Administration in Suzhou on June 1
st. Gu Baogen, Deputy Director-General of ICMA, attended and addressed the Session.
Officials from Institute of Agro-chemicals of Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang provinces and representatives from 18 pesticide manufacturers and traders, altogether 50 participants, attended the Session.
Participants put forward a number of constructive suggestions and proposals after intensive discussions on developing specific data requirements for registration of exported pesticides, improving the working mechanism of Clearance Notice for Import and Export of Pesticides, deepening international cooperation with Brazil and other countries, and enhancing China's influence on international pesticide arena.
All those feedbacks are useful and first-hand resources for ICAMA in developing the supportive rules of newly-amended Regulations on Pesticide Management, and increasing the relevance and effectiveness of international cooperation. (Source: Import and Export Administration Division, ICAMA)
