Tree fruit growers will hear a variety of presentations designed to help prepare them for the 2015 growing season and obtain high-quality fruit crops.

Michigan State University Extension and Michigan State Horticultural Society will be hosting a Spring Tree Fruit Meeting April 1, 2015 at Walli’s Family Restaurant in Flint, Michigan from 9 a.m. to 3:30. Walli’s is located just east of Flint, Michigan at 1341 S. Center Rd., Burton, MI 48509. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and costs $30, which includes educational materials, meal and refreshments (payable at the door).
The meeting agenda is filled with information and topics you will find very useful in growing tree fruit crops this season. Eight MDARD pesticide recertification credits are available and the MSU Extension Bulletin E-154, “2015 Michigan Fruit Management Guide,” will be for sale at $25 per copy.
