Marvin, a veteran of the North American bioscience industry.Crosbie currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and Chair of the Iowa Innovation Council for the State of Iowa. He has led agronomic research and development programs for leading U.S. agriculture companies, including Monsanto. He led the formation and managed one the world's largest plant-breeding programs for a dozen years. Crosbie served in various roles at Monsanto, including VP of Integrated Farming Systems and Director of Global Wheat Breeding, from 1996 until his retirement in 2014.From 1990 to 1995, he was President and CEO of ICI Seeds (aka Garst Seed), USA, which was acquired bySyngenta, a world-leading agribusiness company focused on crop protection and production of high-value seeds.
