Vietnam updates policies on animal feed registration
Vietnam has updated its policies on animal breed imports feed and other related products, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
The Livestock Production Department of Vietnam under the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development (MARD) issued Decision No.196/QD-CN-VP named "Administration Procedures and Time Schedule to Implement 'One Door' Policy. This new mandate simplifies MARD/LPD requirement on procedures of importation of animal breed, feed and related products under their responsibilities.
The new decree CN-VP provides detail guideline on procedures of importation of animal feed, animal breed, animal semen/embryo and its diluting/ preserving agents. The decision is effective from the date of signing and replaces the MARD/LPD decision.
