Fodder Solutions launches feed system in US
Fodder Solutions has launched in the US its technology, which produces nutritious green feed for livestock.
Fodder Solutions has sold more than 300 climate controlled growing chambers to farmers across Australia, enabling them to transform grain seed and water into palatable feed harvested fresh daily regardless of seasonal conditions.
The 72 tray system produces matted sprouts, which can be consumed by livestock with no waste. The system can be used to feed beef and dairy cattle, free range pigs, sheep, goats, horses and rabbits.
Animals on a sprout diet are reportedly healthier with enhanced breeding performance.
The system is now being introduced to the US market with a manufacturing facility established at Oxnard near Los Angeles in California.
